Peter Stark
President
Peter Barron Stark, President of Peter Barron Stark Companies, is a consultant, coach, speaker, author and co-creator of The Manager’s Toolkit. Peter is one of only a handful of speakers to hold the prestigious dual designation of Accredited Speaker from Toastmaster’s International and the Certified Speaking Professional from the National Speaker’s Association.
Over the past twenty years, organizations around the world have called upon Peter to transform their cultures and maximize the effectiveness of their leaders. He has coached more than 400 executives, managers and supervisors on the art of leading people. Peter specializes in helping leaders improve their communication skills, build stronger relationships, hold direct reports accountable and build a reputation for delivering superior results.
He has been published worldwide in over 300 articles, has written ten books, and created The Manager’s Toolkit, a subscription-based website to help turn managers into leaders. Peter’s expertise has been featured by American Executive, Investor’s Business Daily, The New York Times, CNN, Bloomberg, Inc.com and USA Today.
Jane Flaherty
Senior Consultant
Jane Flaherty is a noted consultant, speaker, and author. Throughout her 20 years at Peter Barron Stark Companies, she has had the privilege of working with more than 200 leading organizations including the San Diego Padres, Qualcomm, Toshiba, California Bank & Trust, Sony, Sempra Energy, Boston Red Sox and Farmers Insurance.
Her speaking expertise includes an extensive array of topics, including leadership, customer service and negotiation programs. Whether she is doing training on negotiation, or a keynote on leadership, she knows how to connect with her audience with expertise, warmth and humor.
She has co-authored nine books and co-created The Managers’ Toolkit, a subscription-based website that helps turn managers into leaders. Her work has been featured by the New York Times, CNN, Bloomberg Television, and USA Today.
Prior to joining Peter Barron Stark Companies, her career took her around the world for fifteen years as an educator and administrator for the Department of Defense, working in diverse locations such as the Philippines and Germany.
Jane has an undergraduate degree from Chico State University and a graduate degree from Eastern Washington University.
Dusty Tockstein
Senior Consultant
Dusty Tockstein has twenty-eight years of experience partnering with organizations to help them create an organizational culture where employees love to work. As a senior consultant, Dusty utilizes organizational assessments, leadership and employee surveys, and executive coaching to assist clients in improving their workplace culture.
Dusty’s comprehensive knowledge of leadership, organizational cultures, and survey analysis allows her to assist leaders at all levels by providing leadership guidance and valuable insights into survey results. Her passion is assisting clients in taking their culture to the next level.
Dusty attended San Diego State University, where she majored in Communications with an emphasis on Organizational Communication. She also received a master’s degree in organizational management with an emphasis on Human Resource Management and Development.
Julie Georggin
Senior Consultant
Julie Georggin, Senior Consultant for Peter Barron Stark Companies, has twenty years of experience as a business consultant, trainer and coach. She partners with organizations to develop leadership talent and create cultures where employees are productive, innovative and dedicated. She coaches teams and individuals to close the gap between their present state and the future they desire to create. The outcome is confidence, contentment, and productivity.
Through a humorous and approachable style, Julie engages her clients and provides educational opportunities that are both entertaining and insightful.
Julie’s experience also includes five years as the Strategic Partnership Consultant and Master Trainer with the Center for Faithwalk Leadership and ten years as the Director of Regional Development for IDEA.
Julie holds a California Teaching Credential and a Master’s Degree in exercise physiology. She has extensive experience with corporate business, non-profit organizations and educational institutions.
